  • Recording Vital Signs- Demonstration

  • Primary and Secondary Assessment of responsive & unresponsive casualty – DOTS and SAMPLE History

  • Soft Tissue Injuries -Bleeding, Shock, impaled objects, Amputation, Open abdominal injuries

  • Burns- Types & Management

  • Bites & Stings, Severe allergic reactions

  • Environmental Emergencies-Heat Exhaustion, Heat Stroke and Hypothermia

  • Muscle & Bone Injuries- Sprains/Strains, Dislocation & Fractures

  • Practice Techniques- Bandaging, Immobilization/Splinting

  • Practical Instructions on - Head & Spine Immobilization, Log Roll, Lifting & Moving techniques, Emergency Moves
